The present paper has the solution to a problem about the transference among verbal representations of conical sections, corresponding to the teaching-learning process of Coordinate Geometry in the initial training of Mathematics’ professors. The main problem cause is the insufficient development of the theory of the representations in the context of the Coordinate Geometry. This problem is verified when analyzing the bibliography where it is proven that in the Coordinate Geometry neither all the possible transferences nor procedures to determine them are exposed and, in consequence, the Coordinate Geometry lacks of learning tasks so that students can build and fix the transference procedures. The paper is divided in four parts: the initial part contains the theoretical foundations that the authors developed to solve the problem; the second one has a procedure to determine the possible transferences among representations of the conical sections and the results from its application in order to determine the transferences among the main verbal representations of these; in the third part, a group of learning tasks for the fixation of the transference procedures among verbal representations of the conical section are proposed; and finally, in the fourth part, the description of some results obtained with the use of these tasks are described.
