Abstract
La investigación aborda un tema de gran importancia para el estudio de la localidad en
la Geografía de Cuba pues a través de ella se posibilita el desarrollo de herramientas y
habilidades en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de los alumnos de noveno grado
en el marco de la localidad donde se encuentra la escuela, aportando además el
intercambio con la comunidad y una cultura ambiental local, para su ejecución se
emplearon métodos propios de la investigación educativa, tanto del nivel empírico,
teóricos y matemáticos estadísticos, enmarcados en el objetivo de la investigación:
proponer actividades extracurriculares que contribuyan a contextualizar el estudio de la
localidad en la enseñanza de la Geografía de Cuba en noveno grado de la ESBU Fidel
Claro, del municipio de Fomento. En este sentido los resultados del diagnóstico inicial y
final ratifican la pertinencia de la investigación en el contexto seleccionado y permitieron
sustentar la propuesta de solución.
The investigation approaches a topic of great importance to study the geography of town in Cuba through it the ease to develop tools and skill in the students process of ninth grade in the mark of the town where is the school, also contributing the exchange with the community and an environmental local culture, for its execution were used methods characteristic of the educational investigation, such as the empiric, theoretical and mathematical statistical level, framed in the objective of the investigation to propose extracurricular activities that contribute to contextualize the study of the town in the teaching of Cuba Geography in ninth grade of the ESBU Fidel Claro.in Fomento city.
