Abstract
científica, del nivel teórico: análisis-síntesis, inducción-deducción y la modelación;
Introduction: In early childhood, it is crucial for children to use their native language effectively, integrating verbal and nonverbal signs to facilitate communication and meaning-making. During this sensitive period for language development, adults must implement coherent educational strategies that maximize communication. Objective: To implement recreational activities those stimulate the development of verbal and nonverbal communication among third-year children at the "José Ramón Fuerte" daycare center. Materials and methods: Various scientific research methods were used: theoretical: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, and modeling; empirical: scientific observation; and mathematical: percentage calculations and descriptive statistics. Results and Discussion: The proposed solution seeks to implement recreational activities that promote the development of verbal and nonverbal communication in two-year-old children. The following factors were considered in the creation of these activities: the regularities observed in the initial diagnosis and the characteristics of language and communication development in early childhood. Conclusions: Recreational activities foster the development of verbal and nonverbal communication in children in their third year of life, promoting their independence. Research shows that these creative activities, utilizing innovative resources, significantly contribute to this development at the José Ramón Fuerte Cano daycare center.
