Abstract
principal escenario.
In the educational context, the student’s scientific and environmental formation is one of the fundamental tasks in the integral formation of the student , i.e. that the student is able to understand the complexities of the natural environment and the one created by mankind, as a result of his biological, physical, social, economic and cultural components interaction. In this sense the methodology work assumed from an interdisciplinary perspective constitutes a fundamental aspect in the preparation of the teacher to assume these challenges. This investigation was developed in the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences of the University of Sancti Spíritus, in Chemistry-Biology career, specifically in the first year, as well as a group of 10 students to look for information. As a result, different reflections about the instrumentation of Environmental Education were carried out, sustained in a new form of thinking and behaving: the interdisciplinary aspect. It is also exemplified by interdisciplinary activities like materializing the Environmental Education in the initial formation of university teachers, taking as reference the community environment as main setting.
