En la actualidad, la mayoría de las personas en todo el mundo tienen dispositivos móviles o dispositivos
electrónicos, los que han comenzado a utilizarse en propósitos educativos. Con motivo, las TIC en
entornos educativos han originado nuevas metodologías de enseñanza-aprendizaje; una de ellas es el
denominado «mobile learning» o aprendizaje móvil. Por esta razón aparecen los dispositivos móviles
como un nuevo paradigma social, cultural y educativo que no puede pasar inadvertido en la educación, la
cual pretende ser inclusiva y apegada a las tecnologías. El teléfono móvil, el Tablet, las laptops no solo
son para redes sociales e internet, sino que pueden ser utilizados desde una perspectiva educativa. No
significa que se deba permitir su uso sin control, sino que se consideren las posibilidades que brindan,
pues en diversos centros se prohíbe su uso, tendencia que va precisamente en dirección opuesta. La
presente investigación se basa en la estrategia investigativa estudio de caso, posee un carácter cualitativo
descriptivo; en ella se indagó sobre el uso de los dispositivos móviles y aplicaciones dentro del aula de
clase. Por último, se presentan las conclusiones derivadas de este proceso.
Nowadays, most of people around the world own mobile devices or electronic devices, which are
becoming to be used with educational purposes. Therefore, ICTs in educative environments have
consequently motivated the use of new teaching learning methodologies; one of them is Mobile learning.
Mobile devices have emerged as new social, cultural and educational paradigms that can not be omitted at
the time of schooling, which tries to be inclusive and devoted to technologies. The mobile telephone, the
tablet and laptops not only are intended to be used for social network and internet, but they can also be
used from an educational perspective. It doesn´t mean the use of them should be permitted without
controlling, but the possibilities they offer should be taken into consideration since there are some school
centers where their use has been prohibited , an opposite trend to what it is ever-present . This research is
based on the research approach of a study case, it has a qualitative and descriptive feature; the use of
mobile devices and mobile applications in the classrooms and in the teaching learning process are
assessed. Finally, conclusions derived from this study are presented.
