Introducción: La presente investigación aborda la temática de la lectura digital: un desafío para la educación universitaria de hoy.
Objetivo: Diseñar actividades de promoción con el uso del boletín digital de reseña para mejorar, desde el CRAI, las necesidades de lectura de los estudiantes de primer año de la Licenciatura en Pedagogía Psicología de la Facultad de Ciencias Pedagógicas de la Universidad “José Martí Pérez” de Sancti Spíritus (UNISS).
Métodos: Se emplearon métodos del nivel teórico como: el Histórico Lógico, el Análisis - Síntesis y el Inducción – Deducción. También se utilizaron métodos del nivel empírico como el Análisis de documentos, observación, encuesta y criterio de especialista. Además se recurrió al método del nivel matemático con el cálculo porcentual.
Resultados: Con el diagnóstico realizado se puedo constatar que existe un número considerable de estudiantes universitarios ávidos de conocimientos pero que no les gusta leer textos largos, además de la existencia de muy pocos lectores activos.
Conclusiones: Las actividades de promoción de lectura, con el uso del boletín digital de reseña, que se proponen en la investigación, se realizaron con el objetivo de estimular en los estudiantes universitarios el hábito de lectura y de una manera u otra transformar el comportamiento de ellos hacia dicha actividad.
Introduction: This research addresses the issue of digital reading: a challenge for today's university education.
Objective: Design promotional activities with the use of the digital review bulletin to improve, from the CRAI, the reading needs of first-year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy Psychology of the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences of the "José Martí Pérez" University. ” of Sancti Spíritus (UNISS).
Methods: Theoretical level methods were used such as: Logical History, Analysis - Synthesis and Induction - Deduction. Empirical level methods such as document analysis, observation, survey and specialist criteria were also used. In addition, the mathematical level method was used with the percentage calculation.
Results: With the diagnosis made, it can be verified that there is a considerable number of university students eager for knowledge but who do not like to read long texts, in addition to the existence of very few active readers.
Conclusions: The reading promotion activities, with the use of the digital review bulletin, which are proposed in the research, were carried out with the objective of stimulating the reading habit in university students and in one way or another transforming the behavior of them towards that activity.
