The research aimed at developing a procedure for the improvement of the management of the Local Development Project (LDP) of Circular Economy (CE) "Jara" for the sustainability of the pig production promoted by the Food Sovereignty Plan and Nutritional Education (SAN Plan). The analysis of the scientific literature on the management of LDPs, CE and sustainability of pig production was carried out, as well as the design of the procedure consisting of three stages: I. Organization; the bibliographic search was carried out and experimental data were found that are paramount for the creation of the indicators for the calculation of the CE index for the pig sector in the LDP. II. Diagnosis and Processing; A comparison of the Cost Sheets of live pigs was made before and after the Ordering Task in the LDP of CE Jara to analyze both linear economy scenarios and demonstrate the unsustainability of production under those conditions. Stage III, Execution and Control; The results obtained with the research showed the viability of a Circular Economy model for pig activity accompanied by sustainable management and conceived as a closed system based on an organized LDP based on the development of the community, it reduces the gap that exists between technological and scientific knowledge and the productive realities of the country in terms of food production. A very important result was the beginning of the adaptation of an Integrated Management System (IMS) of free software for the integral management of the LDP. Another result was the transformation of the by-products, co-products and agro-industrial residues of Jara S.R.L into liquid feed to incorporate them into the diet of the pigs. The research pays tribute to the environmental culture of the inhabitants of the locality from the establishment of a LDP based on the concept of Circular Economy.
