Introducción: La educación virtual es una realidad de los sistemas educativos actuales; sin embargo, esta no ha desarrollado, en los estudiantes, habilidades como la creatividad e innovación que permitan
generar autoempleo para potencializar el espíritu emprendedor. Objetivo: Esta investigación busca establecer el nivel de relación que existe entre la educación virtual y el desarrollo del emprendimiento en estudiantes de una universidad privada del Perú. Métodos: Se encuestó a 200 estudiantes del curso de Redacción y Argumentación de textos del primer y segundo ciclo, modalidad semipresencial. La investigación se realizó en el segundo semestre del año 2019 teniendo en cuenta el enfoque cuantitativo y el nivel exploratorio correlacional con diseño no experimental. La muestra se obtuvo a través del muestreo no probabilístico aleatorio simple con criterios de inclusión y exclusión por la edad, sexo, ciclo de estudios y asignatura. Resultados: Los datos obtenidos a partir de los resultados fueron estadísticamente significativos, es decir el resultado de p fue < a 0.05. Conclusiones: Se concluyó, según la prueba estadística no paramétrica Rho de Spearman, que existe una relación positiva moderada entre educación virtual y emprendimiento dado a que el resultado obtenido fue de 0.560.
Introduction: Virtual education is a reality of current educational systems. However, it has failed to develop in students, skills such as creativity and innovation allowing the generation of self-employment and consequently, the development of entrepreneurial spirit. Objective: This research seeks to establish the level of relationship that exists between virtual education and entrepreneurship development in students of a private university in Peru. Methods: 200 students of the course of Writing and Argumentation of texts of the first and second cycle corresponding to the blended learning modality were interviewed. The research was carried out in the second half of the year 2019 taking into account the quantitative approach and the correlational exploratory level with non-experimental design. Results: The sample was obtained through simple random nonprobabilistic sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria by age, sex, study cycle and subject. Conclusions: The data obtained from the results were statistically significant, that is, the result of p was <0.05. According to Spearman's Rho non-parametric statistical test, it was possible to conclude that there is a moderate positive relationship
