Abstract
Introduction: the research presented assumes the solution to a current problem, related to fine motor skills in students with special educational needs associated with a visual disability and confirms the importance of educational attention through teaching tasks. Objective: the above made possible to focus the objective of the work on: proposing teaching tasks that contribute to the development of fine motor skills in student with visual disabilities, in first grade, at Miguel Ángel Echemendía Ramírez Special School in Santi-Spíritus province. Materials and Methods: different methods were used to carry it out, from the theoretical level: the analytical-synthetic, the inductive-deductive, the historical-logical and modeling; at the empirical level: analysis of results of the pedagogical process, documentary analysis and the pedagogical experiment; and of the statisticians-mathematicians: descriptive statistics with application of percentage calculation. Results and Discussion: during the application of the teaching tasks, the gradual development of skills in the use of the pencil, writing on the ruler, writing at the appropriate size and correct posture when sitting was confirmed in the students, reasons for which Fine motor achievements are confirmed in students with visual disabilities. Conclusions: compliance with the requirements, in the application of teaching tasks in the classroom, contributed to raising the level of development of fine motor skills in student with visual disabilities, so that the stated objective is achieved and the effectiveness is demonstrated of the proposed solution to the problem.
