La obra pedagógica del maestro Raúl Ferrer y su vigencia en la escuela cubana actual

Abstract

Enfrentar las transformaciones que reclama la escuela cubana actual sería imposible sin la realización de una mirada analítica al acervo legado por la tradición pedagógica de avanzada nacional. A partir de esta premisa se sustentan los contenidos abordados en el presente artículo, el cual sistematiza los contextos educativos en los que el maestro Raúl Ferrer se desempeñó como profesional, así como la teoría pedagógica resultante de la praxis educativa de esta destacada figura. Sobre la base de este preámbulo se profundiza en la acción magisterial de este ejemplar educador revolucionario, haciendo énfasis en las líneas directrices que caracterizaron sus modos de actuación como maestro primario y dirigente de la educación de adultos y destacando a la vez su vigencia en el modelo educativo cubano actual.Facing the transformations that the current Cuban school claims would be impossible without conducting an analytical look at the heritage bequeathed by the national advanced pedagogical tradition The contents tackled in this article are based in this premise. This article systematizes the educational contexts in which the teacher Raúl Ferrer worked as a professional, as well as the resulting pedagogical theory of the educational practice of this outstanding figure. Based on this preliminary, the magisterial action of this exemplary revolutionary educator is studied deeeply, making emphasis on the guidelines that characterized his work as a primary teacher and leader of adult education, as well as standing out his validity in the current Cuban educational model.
