Abstract
Sensory knowledge constitutes a unique activity and is the basis for the successful realization of the processes of aesthetic, physical, intellectual, and moral education, and is a condition for the realization of any human activity. Sensory patterns contribute to intellectual development in early childhood, which is why these contents must be promoted from an early age. The objective of this research is to apply educational games to contribute to the development of the color sensory pattern in children in the 5th year of life. Different research methods at the theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistical level were used in the diagnosis of the potentialities and shortcomings of the infants. The sample is made up of 20 children from the 5th year group of the “Gilberto Zequeira” nursery school. Children are characterized by having a happy and active mood, they manifest behaviors that reflect an elementary assimilation of socialization and verbal regulation of their behavior. They are capable of frequently carrying out playful actions in the game, following a logical order, agreeing to carry it out. They carry out work assignments and work in the garden, but present difficulties in the color sensory pattern.
