La educación integral en la práctica laboral investigativa de la carrera Ingeniería Forestal

Abstract

A partir de un diagnóstico, que incluyó observación, análisis documental, entrevistas y encuestas, se determinaron los aspectos positivos y negativos en torno al diseño, ejecución y evaluación de la práctica laboral investigativa en la carrera Ingeniería Forestal de la Universidad de Sancti Spíritus “José Martí Pérez”, cuyo objetivo fue: contribuir al desarrollo de una educación integral desde la práctica laboral investigativa en dicha carrera. Los resultados pusieron de manifiesto que esta actividad docente tiene una orientación meramente teórica, en la que los profesores se preocupan exclusivamente por el cumplimiento de los objetivos instructivos y los estudiantes se limitan a realizar las actividades contempladas en una guía que no siempre garantiza la integración de los contenidos ni la consolidación de valores morales e intelectuales, lo que provoca desmotivación, deficiencias en la calidad de esta actividad docente y limitaciones en la formación multidimensional de los estudiantes. Sobre la base de los aspectos negativos constatados se elaboró una estrategia educativa orientada a la ejecución de acciones que le faciliten salida a las diferentes dimensiones de la educación integral en correspondencia con los objetivos instructivos y educativos de la práctica laboral investigativa en cada nivel de formación profesional.

Starting from a diagnosis that included observation, documentary analysis, interviews and surveys, there were determined the positive and negative aspects around the design, execution and evaluation of the investigative labor practice in the major in Forest Engineering in the University of Sancti Spíritus “José Martí Pérez”. The results showed that this educational activity has a merely theoretical orientation, in which the professors worry exclusively about the execution of the instructive objectives and the students are limited to carry out the activities included in a guide that does not always guarantee either the integration of the contents or the consolidation of moral and intellectual values, what causes lack of motivation, deficiencies in the quality of this educational activity and limitations in the multi-dimensional formation of the students. Based on the verified negative aspects, it was elaborated an educative strategy aimed at executing actions enabling working with the different dimensions of the integral education in correspondence with the instructive and educational objectives of the investigative labor practice in each level of professional formation.
