Abstract
The objective of this research is the development of a management system for anaerobic digestion experiments in the biogas laboratory of the University of Sancti Spíritus “José Martí Pérez”. Given the growing importance of renewable energies in the current context, biogas stands out as a sustainable alternative for the use of organic waste. However, the efficiency in the collection and management of experimental data is a challenge that limits progress in this area. The research addresses this problem, proposing a computer system that allows a more efficient data management, reducing the possibility of errors associated to manual collection. A theoretical background on anaerobic digestion and its potential for biogas production is presented, as well as a methodological framework to guide the design and implementation of the system. Expected results include a significant improvement in the quality and productivity of the experiments, as well as a contribution to the advancement of research in renewable energy technologies. This thesis reaffirms the relevance of adopting technological approaches to optimize processes in the field of energy sustainability and scientific research.
