La educación sexual una vía para el logro de una sexualidad responsable

Abstract

La Educación Sexual como vía para el logro de una Sexualidad Responsable constituye una temática de significativa importancia para la escuela cubana cuando en su proyección pedagógica contemporánea se necesita disminuir la deserción escolar por matrimonios, los índices de embarazo precoz, la maternidad temprana, la utilización del aborto como método anticonceptivo, la prevención de las ITS y en especial del VIH y el SIDA. Es propósito esencial del presente artículo científico exponer los fundamentos teóricos y metodológicos que sustentan los talleres de Educación Sexual. Para el estudio del tema se utilizaron diferentes métodos del nivel teóricos, empíricos y estadísticos. Como propuesta de solución se diseñaron talleres utilizando el enfoque alternativo y participativo de la Educación Sexual propuesto por las doctoras Alicia González y Beatriz Castellano; los que fueron validados durante las diferentes etapas del pre-experimento pedagógico constatándose al final que la mayoría de la muestra quedó preparada para lograr una Sexualidad Responsable posibilitando así estilos de vida saludables, los cuales ayudan a elevar la calidad de vida y el desarrollo personológico del ser humano.The Sexual Education as a way to achieve a Responsible Sexuality constitutes a topic of major importance for the Cuban school when in its contemporary pedagogical projection it needs to diminish the school drop off because of marriages, the indexes of precocious pregnancy, the early maternity, the use of abortion as a contraceptive method, the prevention of STI and in a special way the HIV and AIDS. The main purpose of this scientific article is to expose the theoretical and methological groundwork that support the Sexual Education workshops. For studying the topic different methods of theorical, empiric and statistical level were used. As a proposal of solution some workshops were designed, using the alternative and participative approach of the Sexual Education proposed by PhD Alicia González and PhD Beatriz Castellano; the workshops were proved during the different stages of the pedagogical pre-experiment proving that the majority of the sample was prepared to achieve a Responsible Sexuality at the end, making possible styles of healthy life, which help to increase the quality of life and the personal development of the human being.
