Abstract
The importance of teaching magnitudes in Primary Education, highlighting how this subject contributes to the development of cognitive and practical skills in students. It is emphasized that understanding magnitudes, especially length, is crucial for forming a scientific and creative attitude in learners. The text reviews various pedagogical approaches and strategies used by researchers to improve the learning of magnitudes, underscoring the need for methods that encourage active student participation. Additionally, it analyzes the challenges encountered in the teaching-learning process, such as the lack of clear mental concepts of magnitude units and the difficulty in applying knowledge to practical situations. The research presented in the document proposes specific learning tasks to address these limitations, with the goal of improving students' understanding and application of magnitudes. The results indicate that these tasks significantly contribute to advancing students' mastery of magnitudes, suggesting their implementation in other educational contexts.
