Diagnóstico del turismo inclusivo en el destino Trinidad de Cuba

Abstract

El segmento de mercado que integran las personas que padecen algún tipo de discapacidad está cobrando relevancia cada vez mayor para el turismo, por lo que es importante conocer sus necesidades y deseos, tratando de perfilar una oferta turística cuyo contenido esté adaptado a las mismas y contribuya a dar una mayor a este tipo de turismo, el objetivo de la investigación es diagnosticar la situación que tiene el turismo inclusivo en Trinidad de Cuba. La metodología que se aplicó fue de tipo exploratoria – descriptiva, observación directa estructurada, DAFO y entrevistas focalizadas a turista que presentan alguna discapacidad y gerentes de hoteles de la ciudad. Se analizaron los resultados obtenidos de la muestra aleatoria aplicada a turistas, directivos del MINTUR, los mismos manifestaron que el grado de accesibilidad turística en el municipio no cumple con los requerimientos para que su goce y disfrute, se identificaron los factores que influyen en el desarrollo del turismo inclusivo en el Municipio de Trinidad y la interrelación existente entre los mismos (edad, satisfacción del cliente, accesibilidad a los diferentes espacios de la ciudad, frecuencia de viajes, entre otros). Además, se pudo definir las Debilidades y Amenazas, Fortalezas y Oportunidades del destino, proponer un conjunto de acciones que nos permite determinar que sí es factible vincular el turismo inclusivo en el Municipio de Trinidad.

The methodology that was applied was exploratory - descriptive, structured direct observation, SWOT and focused interviews with tourists who have a disability and hotel managers in the city. The results obtained from the random sample applied to tourists, MINTUR directors, were analyzed, they stated that the degree of tourist accessibility in the municipality does not meet the requirements for their enjoyment, the factors that influence were identified. in the development of inclusive tourism in the Municipality of Trinidad and the interrelationship between them (age, customer satisfaction, accessibility to different spaces in the city, frequency of trips, among others). Furthermore, it was possible to define the Weaknesses and Threats, Strengths and Opportunities of the destination, and propose a set of actions that allow us to determine that it is feasible to link inclusive tourism in the Municipality of Trinidad.
