Abstract
Introduction: The initial training of logopedics teachers is conceived in Cuban universities based on interdisciplinary work. It is intended for students to acquire knowledge, skills and values to perform a diversified and renewed Comprehensive Logopedic Care (ALI, Spanish acronym) with the use of methods, techniques, resources, supports and aids, provided by other disciplines of the curriculum, where Plastic Arts distinguishes among Particular Didactics. Objective: To propose a system of workshops supported by plastic techniques that favor the initial training of logopedics teachers for the diversification of ALI. Methods: Qualitative and quantitative procedures and techniques were coherently combined, based on the understanding of the dialectical materialist method, as a general method of science. Results: The workshop system benefits the initial training of logopedics teachers with plastic techniques reused based on the diagnosis and the logopedics class, while enriching the program of the subject “Plastic Expression Workshop”. Conclusion: The specialists consulted support the potential that the scientific result has for bringing about transformations in the students' knowledge of plastic techniques, the skills for their selection and use, as well as the positive attitude in using them during ALI.
