Abstract
La gestión de los procesos de conversión o cambio de vehículos automotores en la Dirección
Provincial de Transporte (DPT) de Sancti Spíritus se enfrenta a importantes limitaciones debido
a la dependencia de procedimientos manuales y documentación física. Esta situación genera
ineficiencias, riesgos de pérdida de información y dificultades en el seguimiento y control de
los expedientes. Para solucionar esta problemática, se planteó como objetivo general desarrollar
una aplicación web que gestione de manera eficiente los documentos y la información de
dicho proceso.
La investigación se sustentó en un análisis de fundamentos teóricos y tecnológicos que condujo
a la selección de la metodología Rational Unified Process (RUP) para guiar el desarrollo. Se
diseñó una arquitectura de tres capas utilizando un stack tecnológico moderno y de código
libre, compuesto por Nuxt.js para el frontend, Express.js para el backend y PostgreSQL como
sistema de gestión de bases de datos.
El sistema desarrollado mejora el flujo de trabajo, permitiendo a los usuarios gestionar la información
de clientes, talleres autorizados y solicitudes. Además, facilita la generación de los
documentos oficiales requeridos (Anexo 1, 2 y 3) y la creación de reportes mensuales consolidados.
La validación del sistema, realizada mediante pruebas de aceptación y auditorías de
rendimiento con Google Lighthouse, confirmó que la aplicación cumple con todos los requerimientos
funcionales y presenta altos estándares de calidad técnica, accesibilidad y seguridad.
La implementación de esta herramienta digital contribuye a la modernización de la DPT, mejorando
la eficiencia, transparencia y control de los procesos administrativos, y optimizando el
servicio ofrecido a los ciudadanos.
The management of the processes of conversion or change of motor vehicles in the Provincial Transportation Directorate (DPT) of Sancti Spiritus faces significant limitations due to the dependence on manual procedures and physical documentation. This situation generates inefficiencies, risks of loss of information and difficulties in the follow-up and control of the files. To solve this problem, the general objective was to develop a web application that efficiently manages the documents and information of this process. The research was based on an analysis of theoretical and technological foundations that led to the selection of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology to guide the development. A three-layer architecture was designed using a modern open source technology stack, consisting of Nuxt.js for the frontend, Express.js for the backend and PostgreSQL as the database management system. The developed system improves the workflow, allowing users to manage information on clients, authorized workshops and requests. It also facilitates the generation of the required official documents (Annex 1, 2 and 3) and the creation of consolidated monthly reports. The validation of the system, carried out through acceptance tests and performance audits with Google Lighthouse, confirmed that the application meets all functional requirements and presents high standards of technical quality, accessibility and security. The implementation of this digital tool contributes to the modernization of the DPT, improving efficiency, transparency and control of administrative processes, and optimizing the service offered to citizens.
