Abstract
Introducción: La familiarización de los niños con el medio comienza desde que
nace, luego va ampliando su horizonte y al interactuar con objetos y fenómenos,
son capaces de comprender y hacer conclusiones, aprenden a razonar, discutir,
descubrir e investigar. Es importante que el hombre tenga conocimientos sobre el
medio ambiente en que vive, por ello desde edades tempranas debe inculcarse al
niño las primeras ideas sobre la conservación de la flora, la fauna y demás
componentes del medio ambiente.
Objetivo: Aplicar actividades variadas que contribuyan al cuidado y protección
del medio ambiente en las niñas y los niños del sexto año de vida.
Materiales y Métodos: Se realizó un diagnóstico mediante la utilización de
diferentes métodos. Se observaron nueve niños. Se aplicó una guía de
observación.
Resultados y discusión: El diagnóstico aplicado permitió esclarecer
potencialidades y dificultades presentadas en los niños que conforman la muestra,
determinándose las actividades variadas: adivinanzas, dramatización de cuentos,
poesías, juegos de mesa y musicales.
Conclusiones: Los resultados alcanzados en la etapa final de la investigación
pusieron de manifiesto que las actividades variadas fueron efectivas, hubo
transformación en los sujetos muestreados, aunque hubo dos niños evaluados de
mal en los tres indicadores.
Introduction: Children's familiarization with the environment begins from birth, then their horizon expands and by interacting with objects and phenomena, they are able to understand and draw conclusions, they learn to reason, discuss, discover and investigate. It is important for man to have knowledge about the environment in which he lives, which is why from an early age the child must be instilled with the first ideas about the conservation of flora, fauna and other components of the environment. Objective: Apply varied activities that contribute to the care and protection of the environment in girls and boys in the sixth year of life. Materials and Methods: A diagnosis was made by using different methods. Nine children were observed. An observation guide was applied. Results and discussion: The applied diagnosis made it possible to clarify potentialities and difficulties presented in the children who make up the sample, determining the varied activities: riddles, dramatization of stories, poems, board games and musicals. Conclusions: The results achieved in the final stage of the research showed that the varied activities were effective, there was transformation in the sampled subjects, although there were two children evaluated poorly in the three indicators.
