Procedimiento para medir el balance demanda oferta en el destino turístico Trinidad

Abstract

El encuentro entre la oferta y la demanda se realiza en el mercado turístico y cuando se hacen coincidir demandantes y oferentes se logra un equilibrio o balance del mercado. En la presente investigación se elabora un procedimiento para medir la demanda y la oferta en el destino turístico Trinidad, que permita establecer un balance o equilibrio, con el propósito de favorecer el crecimiento del sector, posterior al significativo declive creado por la pandemia de la Covid-19, ya que en la actualidad el nivel esperado de la demanda turística de la zona no ha superado las expectativas planeadas. En el trabajo se aplican métodos y técnicas de investigación, que permiten un exitoso desarrollo del mismo. Para finalizar, se exponen las conclusiones que destacan la importancia del procedimiento para medir las tendencias de ambos indicadores y trazar estrategias adecuadas y mecanismos de control para el análisis del balance demanda oferta basado en criterios científicos, por los actores, gestores y grupos de interés en el territorio, lo que posibilita en un corto o mediano plazo incrementar la actividad turística y caminar hacia metas superiores del turismo en la localidad. El procedimiento diseñado puede ser generalizado a otros destinos turísticos de Cuba y el mundo, la línea seguir es partir de estudios particulares para determinar las características propias de cada lugar y proceder en consecuencia.The meeting between demand and supply takes place in the tourism market and when demanders and suppliers match, an equilibrium or balance of the market is achieved. In this research, a procedure is developed to measure demand and supply in the Trinidad tourist destination, which allows establishing a balance or equilibrium, with the purpose of promoting the growth of the sector, after the significant decline created by the Covid pandemic. -19, since currently the expected level of tourist demand in the area has not exceeded planned expectations. Research methods and techniques are applied in the work, which allow its successful development. Finally, the conclusions are presented that highlight the importance of the procedure to measure the trends of both indicators and draw up appropriate strategies and control mechanisms for the analysis of the demand-supply balance based on scientific criteria, by the actors, managers and interest groups in the territory, which makes it possible in the short or medium term to increase tourist activity and move towards higher tourism goals in the locality. The designed procedure can be generalized to other tourist destinations in Cuba and the world, based on particular studies to determine the characteristics of each place and proceed accordingly.
