Abstract
Introduction: Laboratory practices of the subject Physics in Secondary Education contribute to the development of the skills inherent to the use of scientific research methods. Objective: To disseminate the main results of the proposed methodology, with the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), group work and the potential of the environment. Methods: A combination of methods was used; of the theoretical level: analysissynthesis, induction-deduction; empirical: observation, pedagogical test, document analysis, interviews, survey and group discussion; mathematical: descriptive statistics. Results: Increase in motivation and interest of the students, who denoted a greater development of their scientific thinking. The effectiveness of the methodology for carrying out laboratory practices was demonstrated. Conclusions: The proposed methodology provides regularities that determine the essence of the Physics laboratory practices: the completion of the diagnosis about the domain that the schoolchildren present for its execution with the use of ICTs and the potential of the community; the approach based on a conceptual treatment studied at the level of physical phenomenon and experimental law present in the daily problems of the context; and the collaborative nature in favor of creativity.
