Abstract
En la presente investigación se ha podido realizar un análisis sobre la aplicación y
utilización del Seguro Agropecuario en la CPA” Abel Santamaría Cuadrado” del
municipio de Sancti Spíritus, detectándose avances en los contratos de seguros en el
área agrícola y deficiencias en cuanto al área pecuaria, ya que el ganado en la
referida CPA nunca se ha asegurado, por falta de conocimiento en lo relacionado con
los beneficios que se pueden obtener al realizar un contrato de seguro en estas
condiciones y por falta de cultura en cuanto al tema. Se realizó una revisión de la
bibliografía y cálculos correspondientes al seguro de diferentes plantaciones como el
tabaco, frijoles y casas de curación del tabaco.
Se expone la importancia de asegurar las plantaciones ante las sequías, los ciclones
tropicales, las plagas y otros hechos inesperados con los cuales se corren riesgos de
perder los cultivos y con ello tener una afectación económico-financiera considerable
para la entidad.
In the present investigation it has been possible to carry out an analysis on the application and use of Agricultural Insurance in the CPA "Abel Santamaría Cuadrado" of the municipality of Sancti Spíritus, detecting advances in insurance contracts in the agricultural area and deficiencies regarding the livestock area, since the cattle in the referred CPA has never been insured, due to lack of knowledge in relation to the benefits that can be obtained by taking out an insurance contract in these conditions and lack of culture on the subject. A review of the bibliography and calculations corresponding to the insurance of different plantations such as tobacco, beans and tobacco curing houses. The importance of ensuring plantations against droughts, cyclones tropics, pests and other unexpected events with which there are risks of lose crops and thus have a considerable economic and financial impact for the entity.
