Abstract

Fortalecer la formación cultural de cada individuo es una prioridad en la sociedad cubana actual; es la escuela la institución responsable de enriquecer este acervo cultural en correspondencia con el vertiginoso desarrollo socio-cultural del contexto histórico. El maestro es una figura determinante y la clase, el espacio adecuado para contribuir a formar la conciencia estética en los educandos en aras de desarrollar su cultura general integral a partir de los objetivos y contenidos. El artículo expone el substrato teórico conceptual que permite fundamentar la incidencia que tiene la labor del maestro como promotor cultural en la escuela, considerando el Programa para el Perfeccionamiento de la Educación Estética que se desarrolla en Cuba.Nowadays, making cultural training of each person stronger is a priority in Cuban society.
