La revisión del banco de problemas metodológicos de la institución educativa Julio Antonio Mella demuestra la necesidad de realizar la presente investigación la que se ofrece una alternativa de solución al problema con el tratamiento de las magnitudes cualidad masa en los educando de quinto grado. Su aporte principal consiste en una propuesta de tareas de aprendizaje con un enfoque motivador, teniendo en cuenta el entorno social, escolar, y familiar en que se desenvuelve el niño, así como los tres niveles desempeño en la asignatura de Matemática, que incentivará el interés por el aprendizaje en estos escolares , facilitando el manteniendo de sus habilidades tales como la fijación de estos contenidos, así como el enriquecimiento del vocabulario matemático y la adquisición de mayor independencia cognoscitiva. Para su desarrollo se emplearon métodos del nivel teórico, empírico y matemático.

Its main contribution consists of a proposal of learning tasks with a motivating approach, taking into account the social, school, and family environment in which the child develops, as well as the three levels of performance in the subject of Mathematics, which will encourage interest. for learning in these schoolchildren, facilitating the maintenance of their skills such as fixing these contents, as well as the enrichment of mathematical vocabulary and the acquisition of greater cognitive independence. For its development, methods of the theoretical, empirical and mathematical level were used.
