La presente investigación fue realizada en la Empresa Agroindustrial Azucarera Melanio Hernández del municipio Taguasco, provincia Sancti Spíritus, con el objetivo de diagnosticar el estado actual de la tecnología y los riesgos laborales, ambientales y sociales que están presentes en los procesos de fabricación de azúcar en la Empresa Agroindustrial Azucarera Melanio Hernández para disminuir la accidentabilidad en el trabajo, las afectaciones al medio ambiente y calidad de vida de los trabajadores. La aplicación del diagnóstico realizado a los procesos que intervienen en la producción de azúcar crudo se conocieron los principales problemas que afectan a la industria, sus causas y se hicieron recomendaciones para elevar la eficiencia industrial e incrementar los rendimiento y calidad de los procesos que intervienen en la producción de azúcar crudo en la empresa. Se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico, empírico, así como técnicas de investigación que facilitaron la búsqueda de la información requerida para dar cumplimiento a los objetivos planteados. La bibliografía utilizada es de actualidad y se corresponde con el tema de investigación.
The present investigation was carried out at the Melanio Hernández Azucarera Agroindustrial Company in the Taguasco municipality, Sancti Spíritus province, with the objective of diagnosing the current state of technology and the occupational, environmental and social risks that are present in the sugar manufacturing processes in the Melanio Hernández Agroindustrial Sugar Company to reduce accidents at work, impacts on the environment and quality of life of workers. The application of the diagnosis carried out to the processes involved in the production of raw sugar, the main problems that affect the industry were known, their causes and recommendations were made to increase industrial efficiency and increase the performance and quality of the processes involved in the production of raw sugar in the company. Theoretical and empirical methods were used, as well as research techniques that facilitated the search for the information required to fulfill the stated objectives.
