In Higher education the encounter class is a typical class and more generalized to develop the docent job presence of subject in semi-presence modality. The main objective of this paper is proposed actions and algorithm to the diction of independent work in encounter class at University Municipality Center of Cabaiguan. Some methods were used: observation, analysis of documents, the interview, and the survey. As results were syntheses a conceptualize and methodological precision about the direction of the independent work in these type of class given by different authors is offered and also a chart done by the authors of the article, that shows the forms of the independent work and how to do it. Also it is presented a proposal of actions in the four moments for the development of the direction of the independent work and an algorithm for the direction of the independent work.
