Resumen:
It is unquestionable that families have a very hierarchical role to play in society
nowadays; it is the school's responsibility to prepare families so that they can
accomplish their tasks. The objective of this research was to apply orientation
workshops focused on families´ interaction with the school in seventh grade,
Class 2 from "Nestor Leonelo Carbonell" Junior High School in La Sierpe, due
to the fact that families are very important study field in education for its impact
on the educational process. For the conception of the workshops, theoretical,
empirical and mathematical methods were used. They were applied in twenty
six families which were used as sample. The research report has been
conceived in three parts: introduction, development and conclusions .The
development is subdivided in a way that the theoretical and methodological
foundations that sustain the orientation workshop focused on families
preparation for their interaction with the school are summed up . Some criteria
from different authors were taken into consideration. One epigraph refers to the
analysis of the diagnosis, the other states the conceptions of workshops and the
last one has to do with the evaluation process after applying the proposal of
workshops. The result of the application proved the effectiveness of the
workshops; it also permits to arrive to conclusions recommendations of
generalizing the proposal to other groups of families and schools.
